Das Centro Comercial Faro 2 liegt in einem extra für das Einkaufscenter angelegten Kreisverkehr, aus dem man aus allen Richtungen genau darauf zufährt. Inmitten vom Campo International in Maspalomas gelegen besticht es durch seine einzigartige Bauweise. Kreisrund angelegt gelangt man über den Außen- und Innensteg von der unteren über die mittlere zur oberen Etage, ohne auch nur eine Treppe zu benutzen. Natürlich gibt es für den schnellen Weg ohne Rundgang auch Treppen, aber es ist schon erstaunlich, dass man beim Bummel durch das Faro 2 gar nicht merkt, dass man 2 Etagen hinter sich gelassen hat. Das Einkaufscenter beherbergt viele Modengeschäfte, etliche Restaurants verschiedener Küchen und viele Bars, die vor allem abends zu einem Besuch einladen. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Supermarkt und einen deutschen Bäcker, der hier hervorzuheben ist. Neben dem großen Parkplatz gibt es auch eine Tiefgarage. Auf dem Weg zum Eingang vom Faro 2 kommt man auf der einen Seite an einem Kinderspielplatz, auf der anderen Seite an einem Minigolf-Platz vorbei. Wenn man Zeit hat, sollte man sich abends in einem Restaurant auf einen Außenplatz setzen, der Eindruck des nächtlichen Maspalomas und der Ausblick auf das blinkende Holiday World sind ein zusätzliches Schmankerl zum Essen.
